Enid Rose Weir has been singing since the age of 4. When this album was released she was 61 years old. Enid is married, has 5 children and lives in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

During an illness in 1995, she began writing songs and made a home recording of some of her songs. The response to this was amazing; she received many encouraging letters and telephone calls, which helped to inspire her to release this album.

One morning during February of 1999, whilst reading 'The Word For Today' she read the following, "Think of what is left of your life and what you are doing about it." Enid did not read any further, that was the wake up call that she needed. This led her to fast and pray about recording her songs. During the first two days of her fast, she met someone that pointed her in the right direction. Six months later her debut album was released on cassette.

Enid selected six songs from the many she had written for her debut cassette album entitled "Keeping My Eyes On The Cross", blending Country & Western, Sixties Groove, Calypso and Traditional. The songs are soul stirring, inspirational with catchy lyrics and melodies.

Due to the success of the cassette album, her album has now been released on CD and cassette with two additional songs, "I know You are holding my hand" and "I' m leaning on The Rock."
